When Jesus Christ began His ministry, He was surrounded by crowds suffering from intense poverty, chronic illness, and severe oppression under the Roman Empire. While many expected a political Messiah to overthrow Rome and bring earthly prosperity, The Lord Jesus introduced a “True Blessings” message that profoundly surprised them.

Salt of the Earth and Light of the World

Salt and Light (Matthew 5:13-16 and John 8:12 and Psalm 34:8), Christians are called to actively influence the world by embodying the character of Christ, serving as both a preservative against moral decay and a reflection of Jesus’ light so that people in darkness will practically experience the gospel of Christ.
